Car Indicates To Turn But Doesn’t

I was almost hit by a blue Mazda car KAV1TA that was indicating to turn on my right into the street I was exiting. A car in front of them had indicated and had executed the turn.
Luckily I managed to slam on the brakes as the car drove past me and continued down the road with their indicator still on.
