Close pass on Matthews Ave, Airport West. Supervising driver not watching

A close pass on a narrow point of the road westbound on Matthews Ave. Whilst allowances could be made for the learner driver, his supervising driver was on her phone at the time of the incident, and again 90 seconds later when I caught up with them at the lights. At least the learner driver was polite and apologetic.
