Impatient & Ignorant White Van Man

I was cycling along a road that has traffic islands in the centre of the carriageway. I’m always wary of drivers trying to squeeze through or overtake at these pinch points. Sure enough a van driver was about to attempt a last minute overtake as approached the width restriction. I stuck my arm out pointing at the island as I moved to the centre of the lane. After the traffic island the driver slowed down and started shouting something at me as he drove at my speed. I did hear “what’s the matter?” I replied “we both can’t fit through there can we?” This brought forth more abuse. Several times I reminded him he was on camera – being videoed. Eventually he seemed to get the message!.
