Never overtake on the the right

there was a cyclist duo behind me, the one on my right overtook first which made me move to the left - which is fine. HOWEVER, i don't know what's going on in this other cyclists mind that he decided to squeeze and overtake me on my left. Almost lost control of the bike to avoid the two cyclists beside me.
