What red turning arrow? Part 14

A grey hatchback casually blows through the red light and then 1AOD662 tries to push through the red turning arrow that is allowing me and another pedestrian a safe crossing. I'm having none of it so I stand my ground and the driver eventually thinks better of it.
This crossing is a major access way from Hamilton Hill and South Beach for pedestrians and cyclists.
