Double Pass on Double Lines with oncoming car

Blue Commodore passes on double lines but at least theres plenty of room.
Old mate in the white Camry commits to pass manoeuvre and is along side me when the oncoming vehicle rounds the corner and comes into view. Insert expletive here as he closes the gate.
1.5m wide trams, handlebars are 650mm wide. Running day lights.
